1394 Trade Association Developers' Conference To Feature Sessions by KnowledgeTek

JUNE 18--KnowledgeTek Inc. (Santa Clara, CA), a provider of technical training in new technologies, will present a comprehensive seminar on using the IEEE 1394 standard in computer peripherals and consumer electronics designs at this year's annual 1394 Developers' Conference, July 31--Aug. 2, at the Microsoft Conference Center in Redmond, WA.

JUNE 18--KnowledgeTek Inc. (Santa Clara, CA), a provider of technical training in new technologies, will present a comprehensive seminar on using the IEEE 1394 standard in computer peripherals and consumer electronics designs at this year's annual 1394 Developers' Conference, July 31--Aug. 2, at the Microsoft Conference Center in Redmond, WA. The KnowledgeTek IEEE 1394 course includes information about the 1394a and 1394b protocols and the SBP-2 and 6-1883/AVC mappings. Power management has been updated to the latest specifications. Attendees will be able to investigate the bit and byte structures of the transactions, CSRs and configuration ROM, as well as the dc levels of DS encoding, the scrambler, and 8b/10b encoding. PHY, Link, and PHY-Link interfaces are also included.
