    DECEMBER 10--The RACE++ Series VantageRT 7410 system from Mercury Computer Systems (Chelmsford, MA) provides the embedded community with a powerful and scalable PCI-based solution for digital signal and image processing (see www.mc.com/news/news_detail.cfm?press_id=2001_12_10_100936_518795pr.cfm). Using 32 PowerPC 500-MHZ "G4" processors, the system delivers up to 128 GFLOPS in a single PCI chassis.

    The new VantageRT 7410 system builds upon Mercury's existing VantageRT 7400 by incorporating newer, faster processors and providing 25% more speed.
