MVTec Software (Munich, Germany) has appointed Elvitec (Pertuis, France) as distributor in France. Besides distributing HALCON and ActivVisionTools, Elvitec is also providing comprehensive technical support for MVTec's software products.
Elvitec is a leading distribution and consulting companies for machine vision in France. It decided to complete its product portfolio with MVTec software to meet the requirements of a growing market for sophisticated machine vision standard software. The company also provides services such as consultancy or trainings to customers like OEMs, system integrators, and large or medium industry companies.
"France is one of the largest and most important industrial markets in Europe," says Dr. Olaf Munkelt, MVTec's managing director. The Elvitec distribution and support team will be trained by MVTec to become also a member of the MVTec Certified Training Partner Program.
MVTec has more than 30 established distributors located throughout Europe, North and South America, Australia, and Asia. In addition, MVTec, LLC works out of Boston, MA to better attend the North American market.
