DECEMBER 16, 2008--LMI Technologies Inc. (LMI; Vancouver, BC, Canada; www.lmitechnologies.com) has signed a distribution agreement with system integrator Japan F.A. Systems Corporation (JFAS; Yokohama, Japan; www.jfas.co.jp) to initiate a new added sales value channel in Japan for LMI's maestro, HexSight, and FireSync product lines.
When asked why JFAS chose LMI as a new supplier, Mr. Naoyuki Kani, CEO of JFAS, says, "Both LMI and JFAS share similar business ethics; we both place a lot of energy on providing the best customer service." JFAS specializes in ultrahigh-speed image-processing technology, based on optics, fine mechanical, electrical hardware, and software, designing, developing, and integrating custom-designed inspection systems and video communication systems for various industries. Both companies say they look forward to opening up new opportunities for LMI applied technology and JFAS services in Japan.
