OCTOBER 31, 2008--LMI Technologies (LMI; Vancouver, BC, Canada; www.lmitechnologies.com) has signed a partnership agreement with Germany-based MaxxVision (www.maxxvision.com) as its exclusive components and software distributor in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Both LMI and MaxxVision will be exhibiting at the upcoming Vision 2008 tradeshow in Stuttgart, Germany from Nov. 4-6, 2008.
At this year's Vision 2008, LMI will announce and launch its new maestro product line. Maestro provides a central controller and software to manage synchronization, powering, and wiring that the company says will simplify the vision engineering design and implementation process.
Visitors to the MaxxVision booth will see a demonstration on web scanning using the LMI FireSync platform. The FireSync platform includes hardware and software components that provide vision engineers with a scalable network that connects many sensors, multicore processing for high-speed data transfer and performance, as well as microsecond synchronization.
