The Vision Show offers a look at the latest machine-vision technologies and applications from more than 100 manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers from around the world. The accompanying conference, which begins on Monday, June 9, features in-depth tutorials and sessions on topics such as the fundamentals of machine vision, lighting & optics, how to select machine-vision components, integrating machine vision into your system, 3-D vision solutions, and the latest advances in smart cameras and sensors, advanced color vision, machine-vision software, nonvisible imaging, and more.
More than 2000 engineering and manufacturing leaders are expected to participate in The Vision Show, which was last held in Boston in May 2006. Attendees are made up of highly qualified customers of machine-vision systems, components, and solutions.
Dana Whalls, managing director of the Automated Imaging Association (AIA; Ann Arbor, MI, USA), the trade group that produces the event, says, "New this year will be a focus on providing more actual demonstrations of systems and products so that industries that have not fully adopted vision and imaging can come and see how it will help them save time and money while increasing quality." She also stresses, "Smart managers in all industries will utilize The Vision Show Conference for the high-quality yet low-cost training it provides."
The trade show is free for advanced registrants, and the conference offers low-cost, multiday passes. Up-to-date information about The Vision Show can be found at www.machinevisiononline.org.
