Andor Technology has announced the launch of its new Solis acquisition software for imaging and spectroscopy applications.

Andor Technology has announced the launch of its new Solis acquisition software for imaging and spectroscopy applications. Solis is a 64-bit enabled application for Windows that offers data acquisition and processing, camera control, and image analysis capabilities. The software features a built-in programming language, AndorBasic, which was designed specifically to simplify complex operations. With Solis, users can program image acquisitions, automate file storage, communicate with external devices, manipulate data, and build macros to automate an experiment. In addition, Solis features real-time data display and charting, selectable triggering options, pseudo-color/2D/3D stacked and overlaid display modes, and real-time data calculations such as background correction, flat-fielding, transmission, and reflectance.
