BitFlow, Inc. will showcase its Cyton CXP4 four-channel frame grabbers, which are based on the CoaXPress standard and feature a Gen 2.0 x8 PCI Express bus interface on its back end, at the AIA Vision Show in Boston from April 15-17. Cyton CXP4 frame grabbers support video capture speeds of up to 6.250 Gb/S in applications deploying one to four CXP-6 cameras. CXP4 frame grabbers also allow control commands, triggers, and power to be sent to and from cameras over the same 75 Ohm coaxial cable, and also feature programmable region of interest sub-windowing. In addition, Cyton CXP4 frame grabbers are packaged with BitFlow’s software development kit, which supports both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems and allows users to create, modify, and test configuration files without requiring knowledge of the frame grabber’s internal architecture. Free drivers can also be downloaded for most third-party machine vision packages.
