As part of Microscan’s Regional Training program, the company—along with Microscan Vision Select Partner Rotalec—will host a New Technology Workshop focusing on AutoVISION machine vision software at Rotalec’s headquarters in Montreal, Quebec on October 8, 2014.

Attendees of the free training workshop will have the opportunity for hands-on experience with AutoVISION machine vision software in labs led by Microscan and Rotalec solutions engineers. In these labs, users will be guided to create their own CloudLink dashboard from AutoVISION’s software emulator to see real-time inspection data from their machine vision job displayed in a web browser. Following their practice with the software, attendees will be invited to meet and collaborate with automation experts from both Microscan and Rotalec to learn how the technology can benefit their operations.

Machine vision and auto identification technology experts will be available for one-on-one guidance on attendees’ specific applications and automation projects. In addition, attendees will also be able to bring their parts and codes to the event to discuss with the Microscan and Rotalec teams. Special discounts will be offered on AutoVISION smart cameras as part of the training program.

Attendance is free and is available for users from beginning to expert. Additional training events scheduled include:

  • September 10: Nashua, NH
  • September 16: Galway, Ireland
  • September 18: Cork, Ireland
