The CVS-1457RT compact vision system from National Instruments is powered by a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom processor and is designed to acquire and process images in real time from multiple cameras. The vision system has two independent GigE Vision ports with Power over Ethernet technology and its ports support camera triggering over the Ethernet bus, so users can power the camera, send triggers, and acquire images all from a single Ethernet cable. The CVS-1457RT also has an FPGA-enabled I/O, two USB ports, a serial port, a LAN port, and eight isolated digital outputs. In addition, the CVS-1457RT is programmable by LabVIEW software. The new vision system from NI is suitable for use in vision-guided robotics, industrial inspection, and OEM vision applications and will be showcased during NI Week from August 4-7 in Austin, Texas.
