Sept. 18, 2012
QuadGrabber from Advanced Micro Peripherals is a four-channel video capture and overlay controller on a single PC/104-Plus card, enabling capture of four simultaneous NTSC/RS-170, PAL/CCIR, or SECAM analog video inputs.

QuadGrabber is a four-channel video capture and overlay controller on a single PC/104-Plus card, enabling capture of four simultaneous NTSC/RS-170, PAL/CCIR, or SECAM analog video inputs for local system display or software analysis and processing. The video-capture board allows each of the four video channels to be captured at full D1 size, all at full frame rate and then scaled, cropped and positioned under software control. It can also capture up to four mono audio sources. Captured video data can be streamed continuously to system memory. The frame grabber capture engine features hardware color space conversion to present the captured video data in the format best suited to the end application. The software development kits (SDKs) for video capture and windowing are designed to reduce development time in Windows, Linux, and QNX environments and include support libraries, drivers, and example applications.
