The apps' functions include a utility providing basic LabVIEW usage references and support; connectivity with programmable devices such as the CompactDAQ hardware and an API for for programming custom apps; and a data dashboard that alows remote viewing and interaction with test and measurement data gathered from LabVIEW.

By combining the portability, ease of use, faster start-up time and longer battery longevity of mobile devices with the power of LabVIEW, engineers can more productively access measurement data from data acquisition and embedded monitoring systems.
