OCTOBER 27, 2009--Boulder Imaging (Louisville, CO, USA; www.boulderimaging.com) and Mikrotron (Unterschleissheim, Germany; www.mikrotron.de) have entered into a distribution agreement for sales and marketing of Mikrotron products in the US. The agreement comes as Boulder Imaging expands its products and service offering in the U.S. market.
"We are pleased to be offering Mikrotron high-speed cameras and frame grabbers," says Michael Willis, president and COO of Boulder imaging. "It is Mikrotron's philosophy of a 'one source' approach that made them the perfect partner for us. This agreement gives us a much broader capability in delivering complete solutions -- sensors, recorders, and analytic software -- all in one package. Given our unsurpassed experience and expertise in all aspects of digital imaging and imaging processing it makes sense for us to expand our product lines to reflect that. We are now able to specify, qualify, and provide high-speed cameras that are fully integrated into our high-performance digital video recorders (HPDVR). The end result is that our customers need only look in one place for a solution that perfectly fits."
"Sustained economic growth, gained by the effective development and marketing of our innovative products, is the basis for a close cooperation with our distributors," says Juergen Zimmermann, vice president of marketing and sales, Mikrotron. "By signing the distribution agreement with Boulder Imaging we expand our international sales partner network to an experienced and successful partner in the USA. Cooperation with a partner with profound knowledge in all areas of image processing enables us to expand our business in the US market."
