MAY 27, 2009--EVT NANO CS, part of the ColorSens sensor line, is based on EyeVision Software and comes with the Advanced Color Match system (ACM) to detect and evaluate shades. The system is integrated in the process environment via digital cables (SPS) that connect the sensor with the ACM system or the system is integrated via different bus systems (Ethernet, RS-232; optionally available as Profibus or Interbus). The NANO series is available with a sensor resolution of 640 x 480, 1024 x 768, and 1280 x 1024 pixels. Inspection possibilities range from dashboards and fuse boxes in automobiles to colored rings on resistances to crayon packages and cosmetics. The sensor lights the surface of the object with white light of a nonvarying temperature. The reflection that is rejected by the object is checked for complete color information (brightness, shade, satiation).

- the ColorSens series optimizes the color recognition and the color checking -

The new ColorSens product line of EVT works with the Advanced Color Match System, that provides a wholly quality during the analysis of color images. The quality assurance is guaranteed due to a fast and reliable color recognition and color checking. The sensor is insertable for multifarious tasks. Anytime new tasks can be defined in a fast and simple way because of the intuitive train-process. The color sensors can even differentiate between least shades which cannot be even noticed by the human eye. The Automation, the packaging technology, the quality control as well as the pharmaceutical industry and the food industry belong to the field of application. The system can be used in each sector of industry where shades, color pattern or a special array of colors have to be checked.

EVT NANO CS is based on the EyeVision Software and comes with the effective Advanced Color Match System (ACM) in order to detect shades and to evaluate them finally.

EVT developed the color image processing and simplified the operation for the user at same time. Now the user has only to define the place of inspection as well as the shade for the color check¬ing. Thanks to the convenient train-process this step can be defined in only a few mouse clicks. After the definition of the color the test cycle is already trained. Now the sensor executes its work in the production. The system is integrated in the process environment via digital cables (SPS) which connect the sensor with the ACM-system or the system is integrated via different bus systems (Ethernet, RS232) (optionally available as profibus or interbus).

Special white light illumination based on LED has been developed for the ColorSens systems. This illumination allows a stable color analysis. The sensor lights the surface of the object with white light of a non-varying temperature. The reflection which is rejected by the object is checked for the whole color information (brightness, shade, satiation). The advantage of the LED illumination is the steadiness of the temperature which is the basis for an ideal and correct color image evaluation.

EVT allocates an ultra tight system which can be smoothly integrated anywhere. The ColorSens NANO series is available with a sensor resolution of 640 x 480, 1024 x 768 and 1280 x 1024 pixel. The spectrum of application possibilities ranges from the inspection of dashboards and fuse boxes in motorcars to the inspection of colored rings on resistances to the checking of crayon packages and make-up. The system can be used everywhere in the industry where shades, color pattern or special arrays of colors have to be checked.
