MARCH 23--On Friday March 24, 2006, at 13:00 UK time, Mathsoft (Cambridge, MA; www.mathsoft.com) will host a Web seminar entitled "Signal and Image Processing with Mathcad." Topics covered include descriptions of the company's signal processing, image processing, and wavelet software. While the signal-processing software provides more than 70 built-in signal-processing functions, including signal filtering, spectral analysis, time-frequency analysis, and spectral estimation, the image-processing software provides 140 built-in image-processing functions, including capabilities for filtering, morphology, edge detection, segmentation, and feature extraction. Mathsoft's wavelets extension pack allows wavelets to be applied to signal and image analysis functions.
