JULY 25--In the financial year 2005/2006, ending June 30, 2006, Stemmer Imaging (Puchheim, Germany; www.stemmer-imaging.de) was again able to record double-digit growth. At 23.2 million euros, sales were 11.7% higher than the previous year.

And the results for the entire Stemmer Imaging Group were also strong. The group, which comprises Stemmer Imaging GmbH (Germany), Firstsight Vision. (UK), Imasys SAS. (France), and Stemmer Imaging Schweiz AG (Switzerland), was able to generate consolidated sales of 36 million euros, which also represents a double-digit growth rate. The Swiss subsidiary in particular achieved great results: In the second year since its foundation it was able to generate sales of more than 1.8 million Swiss Franken representing growth of no less than 60%.
Firstsight Vision was able to handle a number of major projects where the customers made use of the Group's one-stop-shopping model and sourced all the components from a single supplier. Common Vision Blox, the image processing software library developed by Stemmer Imaging, last year achieved the highest sales figures since it was first introduced in 1997.
