Lumenera and MVTec announce industrial imaging solution

MAY 15--Lumenera Corporation (Ottawa, Canada) and MVTec Software (www.mvtec.com) have integrated their technologies for use in machine-vision applications.
MAY 15--Lumenera Corporation (Ottawa, Canada), a developer and manufacturer of high-performance digital cameras and imaging solutions, and MVTec Software (www.mvtec.com), a manufacturer of software tools for machine vision, have integrated their technologies for use in machine-vision applications. The software integration combines Lumenera's line of industrial megapixel cameras with MVTec's Halcon 7.1 software.
Lumenera's family of USB 2.0 cameras offer a variety of speed and resolution from VGA through 11 Mpixels to satisfy a broad range of applications. Adding MVTec's software now provides a complete imaging solution for machine-vision applications where high accuracy and detail such as OCR and OCV, barcoding, and defect analysis are required.
