Partnership expands applications and market for vision software

AUGUST 3, 2007--Adept Technology (Livermore, CA, USA; www.adept.com), a provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, has signed a licensing agreement with LMI Technologies, a provider of vision-sensor technology. Under terms of the agreement, Adept will provide LMI with a license to Adept HexSight software and trademark. LMI will market and support HexSight products on a worldwide basis in addition to development of new products. Adept will gain access to LMI's enhanced state-of-the-art technology, allowing the company to maintain its vision-guidance products.
