DECEMBER 14, 2007--To strengthen its relationship with a large number of suppliers of image-acquisition devices, MVTec Software (Munich, Germany; www.mvtec.com) has launched its Image Acquisition Partner Program. One of MVTec's primary goals is the development and support of interfaces to provide the best integration of industrial image-acquisition devices into MVTec's software products HALCON and ActivVisionTools. One important element of this program is the close collaboration in developing and maintaining these interfaces, as well as in potential support cases. The program guarantees that both the hardware and the software manufacturer have knowledge of each other's products for providing an optimal solution.

Dedicated members of the MVTec Image Acquisition Partner Program are Allied Vision, Basler, Baumer, BitFlow, Festo, IDS, JAI, Leutron, Lumenera, Mikrotron, NET, Opteon, Photonfocus, Pleora, Point Grey, Prosilica, Sick IVP, Silicon Software, Tattile, and The Imaging Source. For more information go to www.mvtec.com/company/ia-partner-program.html.
