APRIL 10--Applied Vision (Akron, OH, USA; www.appliedvision.com) and ParmaControls (Parma, Italy; www.parmacontrols.it) have entered into a multiyear agreement spanning Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Under this agreement and the licensing arrangement, ParmaControls will manufacture, market, install, and provide continuing support for Applied Vision's Genius and KromaKing machine-vision inspection systems.

Applied Vision designs and manufactures application-specific machine-vision inspection systems for packaging, food and beverage containers, and color printing.
