SEPTEMBER 28--Leutron Vision Inc. (Burlington, MA; www.leutron.com/us/) has announced its first free HALCON introductory seminar on October 5 at the Sheraton Sunnyvale Hotel in California. This free seminar is an opportunity for vision specialists to learn more about HALCON, an advanced Machine Vision Library.

The seminar will cover how to make your image processing more robust and run faster, speed up your machine-vision development, get the most accuracy out of your vision system, operate independent of image-acquisition hardware, and utilize the most advanced image-processing algorithms. A machine-vision expert will speak about real-life applications and will be available to answer attendees' questions.

HALCON, the professional machine vision library, is an extensive source of image-processing functions with more than 1100 operators. It is available for WindowsXP/2000/NT, Linux (Intel), Unix, and Philips Trimedia. Functions can be called via the convenient interactive user interface Hdevelop and from C/C++ or COM (MS .NET and Visual Basic compatible).

Leutron Vision Inc., a distributor of HALCON in North America for more than four years, has great knowledge of the product and its interaction with Leutron Vision acquisition hardware.
