Mango DSP opens sales office in California

APRIL 16--Mango DSP Ltd. (Jerusalem, Israel) has appointed Yinon Kotzer, vice president sales, to head the new Mango DSP sales office in San Jose, CA.

APRIL 16--Mango DSP Ltd. (Jerusalem, Israel), a manufacturer of high-performance multiprocessing hardware and software DSP solutions for the embedded systems market, has appointed Yinon Kotzer, vice president sales, to head the new Mango DSP sales office in San Jose, CA. Joining Yinon is Robbie Lazar, sales manager and Joel Rotem, application engineer.

Mike Berlin, president said: "The San Jose Office represents Mango's expanding commitment to service the American market by providing a solid product base. Today Mango is shipping integrated boards and system-level solutions to OEMs in the homeland-security, communications, medical-imaging, machine-vision, defense & aerospace, and video-technologies markets worldwide. Our customers include market leaders in their fields."

Mango DSP's San Jose office has secured its first major sale with a contract to provide advanced video recording systems to an American company with worldwide marketing. The initial purchase order is for equipment in the sum of $1.3 million and is expected to grow over the coming years.
