At the Euclid Labs booth at VISION 2018 in Stuttgart Germany, the company will showcase its Moonflower hardware-independent software for random bin picking applications. Moonflower enables robots to pick randomly mixed parts by analyzing 3D images of the parts inside the bin and utilizing algorithms for part matching, path planning, collision avoidance, and robot code generation. Moonflower also takes into account part geometry, bin dimensions, time cycle, randomness of parts in the bin, optical characteristics of part sufaces, and type and tolerance of gripping.
