At VISION 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany, Gidel will its latest machine vision solutions, including the InfiniVision multi-camera frame grabbing system, which provides the infrastructure for acquisition and processing from multiple cameras/sensors simultaneously. InfiniVision can capture data streams of varying frame data size and can synchronize between up to 100 cameras/sensors. Camera interfaces currently offered by Gidel include CoaXPress, Camera Link, and MIPI, as well as an option for customizing the camera/sensor interface and protocol.
In addition, Gidel will showcase its new compression IPs, which are lossless IPs that reduce storage needs by more than 50%, requiring low power and able to encode more than 1 Gb/s, utilizing only 1% of the FPGA, according to the company.
