• Deep learning and image registration software tools among Matrox Imaging highlights at VISION

    At VISION 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany; Matrox Imaging will showcase its latest machine vision software and hardware products, including the latest version of its Matrox Design Assistant flowchart-based software.

    At VISION 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany; Matrox Imaging will showcase its latest machine vision softwareand hardware products, including the latest version of its Matrox Design Assistant flowchart-based software. This version includes new tools for classification using deep learning and image registration using photometric stereo.

    Paired with this software on a number of demonstrations will be a Matrox Iris GTR smart camera and a Matrox 4Sight GPm vision controller with a GigE Vision camera. Also on display will be the company’s Rapixo CoaXPress 2.0 frame grabber using Matrox Imaging Library software and a CoaXPress area scan camera in a demonstration, as well as a the latest vision controller, the Matrox 4Sight EV6.

    Additional demonstrations will include the reading of PharmaBraille text, 3D profiling for tire tread inspection, and verifying ID marks using feature-based OCR.
