Alvium camera series for industrial embedded applications released by Allied Vision

All Alvium cameras includes an application-specific integrated circuit, integrated image signal processor, and image processing library.

Allied Vision has announced that the first four models of the new Alvium camera series are now available. All Alvium cameras includes an application-specific integrated circuit, integrated image signal processor, and image processing library.

Alvium 1500 series cameras are equipped with a MIPI CSI-2 interface with 1, 2, or 4 lanes and 1 or 5 GBps per lane. Software integration is provided via Video4Linux2 to Gstreamer and OpenCV, or direct register access.

The 1500 C-050 model features an ON Semi PYTHON 480 sensor with 0.5 MPixel resolution, 4.8 µm pixel, and 116 fps. The 1500 C-120 model features an ON Semi AR0135CS sensor with 1.2 MPixel resolution, 3.75 µm pixel, and 50 fps. The 1500 C-500 features an ON Semi AR0521 sensor with 5 MPixel resolution, 2.2 µm pixel, and 67 fps.

The 1800 U-500 model is equipped with a USB3 Vision interface, an ON Semi AR0521 sensor with 5 MPixel resolution, 2.2 µm pixel, 67 fps, and GenICam support.
