Polyga releases MeasureXL handheld 3D scanning system

The system is designed for reverse engineering and scientific measurement applications.
Nov. 19, 2019

The MeasureXL system from Polyga is a handheld optical coordinate measuring system designed for 3D scanning applications. The wireless probe and optical tracker are bundled with proprietary software that allows the MeasureXL to measure 2D and 3D geometry, and angles, distances, and points.

According to the manufacturer, MeasureXL’s flexible measurement range can measure objects as small as a baseball and as large as a car door, and the system is designed for reverse engineering and scientific measurement applications.

Results are displayed in the software while measurements are taken, and data can be exported directly to IGES (CAD) or CSV (text). The MeasureXL is integrated with Rhino 6 for Window CAD modeling software.
