Mikrotron expands EoSens camera series with new CoaXPress 2.0 model

Feb. 12, 2020
The 2.0CXP2 features higher resolution and switchable CoaXPress lanes.

The first Mikrotron camera that uses the CoaXPress 2.0 standard, the EoSens 2.0CXP2 model features a 2 MPixel LUX19HS image sensor with 10 µm pixel, in 4/3” optical format. The camera delivers up to 2,220 fps at 1920 x 1080 resolution and up to 18,100 fps at 128 x 128, and has 60 dB dynamic range.

CoaXPress 2.0 supports bit rates up to 12.5 Gbits per lane, and the EoSens 2.0CXP2 can switch lanes to 1, 2, or 4, down to 3,125 Gbps, which makes the camera also compatible with the CoaXPress 1.1 standard. The camera’s CXP-12 interface allows data transmission of 2,200 fps at full resolution.
