• Computar Optics releases new ultra-low distortion lens series

    According to the manufacturer, the MPW3 lens series features very low distortion, reliable illumination to the edge, and short working distances.

    The new MPW3 lens series from Computar Optics has fixed focal lengths from 5 to 75 mm at a maximum of 8 MPixels, with 2.74 µm pixel size. The lenses are designed for image sensors from 1/2.5-inch to 2/3-inch optical formats and optimized for the IMX250, IMX264, ICX625, RJ32S4, EV2S05M, and IMX178 image sensors.

    The lenses are equipped with C-Mount lens mounts. According to the manufacturer, the MPW3 lens series features very low distortion, reliable illumination to the edge, and short working distances.
