• Global shutter sensor series expands with new designs

The new Emerald 3.2 MPixel sensor is designed for MIPI CSI-2 interfaces.
    June 4, 2020

The Emerald 3.2 MPixel CMOS image sensor is compatible with a range of image signal processors using the MIPI CSI-2 interface. The sensor has digital circuits with real-time pre-processing algorithms that reduce data storage and processing loads. Features include 2.8 µm global shutter pixel size and dynamic range of 67.9 dB.

The sensor is available in two different package options: ceramic LGA or organic fan-out BGA. Additionally, the sensor provides 2048 x 1536 resolution and frame rate of 68 fps at 10 bits. Applications include security, drones, embedded vision, and traditional machine vision.
