Teledyne DALSA adds new model to SWIR camera line

The new camera is designed for food and packaged goods inspection, recycling, mineral sorting, and solar and silicon wafer inspection.

The new Linea SWIR 512 camera, the second model in Teledyne DALSA’s SWIR InGaAs line scan camera series, features a 25 µm pixel and 512 x 1 resolution. Like the previous 1k model, the new 512 model features a mono spectrum, GigE Vision interface, and maximum line rate of 40 kHz.

The new camera also has a 46 x 46 x 55 mm footprint, 8-bit and 12-bit depth, 66 dB dynamic range, and an operating temperature of 0 - 40° C. Cycling mode, programmable I/Os, power over Ethernet, and precision time protocol are other features of the Linea SWIR 512.
