With its new Flex-Eye approach, JAI offers a configurable design process for its Fusion series of prism-based multispectral cameras where customers can specify a custom set of multispectral wavebands. The cameras feature either two or three Sony IMX273 or IMX252 CMOS image sensors, which are available in Bayer or monochrome and offer 1.6 MPixels or 3.2 MPixels per waveband, and a set of predefined wavebands – one spanning the visible spectrum (400 to 700 nm) and one or two additional wavebands located in the NIR region (700 to 1000 nm). A dichroic prism divides the incoming light to the separate sensors while maintaining a common optical path, which enables simultaneous capture of all wavebands with high frame rates (up to 226 fps) via 10GigE interface.
