    Aug. 27, 2020

Based on the 24.5 MPixel Sony Pregius S IMX540 sensor, the FLIR Blackfly S USB3 camera reaches 12 fps. This sensor provides a backside illuminated, 2.74 µm pixel for nearly double the pixel density of earlier sensors, with quantum efficiency of 71.5% and low read noise.

Designed for detailed production line inspection applications, including distortion-free imaging of fast-moving targets, the Blackfly S BFS-U3-244S8M/C-C offers d a C-Mount lens and is currently available for purchase globally in color and monochrome versions. Additional Pregius S sensors on GigE and 10 GigE interfaces will be released later this year.
