Spot Meter Accuracy can also account for environmental conditions like ambient temperature.

The Boson radiometric camera core captures temperature data and comes in 640 x 512 and 320 x 256 resolution versions, each with multiple lens configurations. According to the manufacturer the camera features +/- 5° C or +5% temperature measurement accuracy, and a Spot Meter Accuracy software feature that assesses temperature measurement accuracy within a scene. This feature is accessed as telemetry data through the Boson SDK or GUI and provides five confidence grades for in-the-moment assessments.

Spot Meter Accuracy also can account for dynamic air temperatures and provides the ability to configure measurements prior to operation, including the adjustment of emissivity and thermal gain settings.  The camera core is designed for firefighting, surveillance, security, unmanned systems, industrial inspection, and fixed-asset monitoring applications.
