Indirect Time-of-Flight image sensor designed for challenging ambient light conditions

The GTOF0503 utilizes the pulse modulation iToF technique.

The GTOF0503 global shutter CMOS image sensor is an indirect Time-of-Flight (iTOF) sensor featuring 640 x 480 resolution and 5 µm pixel size in 1/4-in. optical format and with MIPI CSI-2 interface.

The sensor can achieve up to 60 fps in single modulation frequency mode or 30 fps in dual modulation frequency depth mode, with modulation frequencies up to 165 MHz and according to the manufacturer excellent sensitivity at near infrared wavelengths.

Other features include multiple acquisition and low-power standby modes, integrated light source control, 2x2 and 4x4 digital binning, H/V image flipping, and multiple ROI functionality.
