Camera developer e-con Systems has released a global-shutter, fixed-focus camera with the Sony Pregius IMX264 sensor. The backlit See3Cam 50CUGM has a pixel size of 3.45 x 3.45 µm. Streams 5MP at 35 fps, HD at 99 fps and VGA at 145fps. Capture images in the NIR range by utilizing IR lighting. Users can control the exposure periods—from as low as 1 µs to multiple seconds. The USB-compatible C-mount monochrome camera has a FoV of 33.4° (D), 26.1° (H), 22.6° (V) with the lens provided by e-con Systems.
