D3 Engineering has launched two series of global shutter cameras, which have been optimized for AI-enabled applications, and include lens options with wide, medium, or narrow FOV. The cameras are designed for autonomous machines, robotics and industrial sensing. The DesignCore Discovery Series RGB cameras, with the Sony IMX390 sensor, have a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 and frame rate of 30 fps. Meanwhile, the DesignCore Velocity Series RGB cameras, with the onsemi AR0234 sensor, have a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 and frame rate of 60 fps. Both series are compatible with FPDLink III, GMSL2, and MIPI CSI-2 interfaces.
