Teledyne DALSA recently launched its new GigE compatible image acquisition board, the Xtium2-XGV PX8. The board is a PCIe half length Gen. 3.0 x8 board and can support up to 32 cameras. It features up to four SFP+ cages. It can sustain input bandwidth of 4 Gbps and up to 6.8 Gbps output bandwidth to the host memory. It can convert GigE vision packets into images and transfer the images to the host memory without using the CPU. It can also perform a variety of on-board format conversions before sending the images to the host computer. It can support AIA GigE Vision standard, monochrome and color area scan and line scan cameras, and 3D sensors. It has on board memory buffer. It supports Sapera LT, CamExpert, and Z-Expert and can run Spinnaker SDK, Windows 10/11 64 bit, and WOW64 softwares. It is 15.5 cm long x 10 cm in height and has an operating temperature of 10°C to 50˜C.
