Programmable and controlled by software and using a 512 x 512 square-pixel CMOS image sensor and embedded DSP, the MVS-135 digital camera can run as a stand-alone or a network-connected imaging system with a dynamic range of 120 dB. These capabilities allow random pixel access, nearly eliminate blooming effects, and real-time decisions on which pixels to read. An effective pixel rate of 2.4 MHz enables the camera to read more than 235 frames/s for a window of 100 x 100 pixels. Software applicati
