Processor predigitizes images The XRD98L60 and XRD98L61 12-bit analog image signal processor

July 1, 1999
The XRD98L60 and XRD98L61 12-bit analog image signal processor digitize images before delivery to a digital-signal processor or digital postprocessor in video cameras, digital still cameras, and other progressive-scan CCD devices. They integrate the signal conditioning, gain, calibration, and digital functions and deliver 40 MSPS. Both devices operate on 3 V, consume 200 mW, and come with a correlated double sample and hold circuit and a programmable gain amplifier.
