Camera digitizes 70 frames/s

April 1, 1999
Featuring an integrated 10-bit A/D converter for internal image capture and digitization, the DSL6000 camera digitizes 640 ¥ 480 pixels at 70 images/s. The converter digitizes a full 10 bits of image information, but discards the least significant bits to obtain a more accurate image. In partial scanning mode, the camera can operate at faster acquisition speeds to inspect up to 10,000 parts per minute. Data transfers are passed over the company`s proprietary digital serial link.
