Providing accurate remote positioning control for CCD/ CMOS video camera systems connected via digital networks, the controller increases the field-of-view of such cameras by up to 270, eliminating the need for fisheye lenses. With pricing starting at $295, the Transit RCM features control for motorized zoom, focus and iris, and self-calibration upon reset. Features include maximum control speed of more than 240/s, with on-the-fly speed and position changes; pan range of 180, with 200-270 field-of-view range; and minimum tilt range of 60 up and 60 down (120-160 range, depending on optics and camera size).
