Seeing with CCDs In a single enclosure, the Camille intensified CCD camera incorporates a filter wheel, intensifier tube, and CCD video camera. A microprocessor sets the intensifier`s gain, exposure time (down to 50 ns), and the selection of one out of six filters. The camera operates at video rates with CCIR or RS170 outputs. Local and remote controls using a RS232 interface and protection against overillumination are standard. A frame grabber and Windows 3.1-compatible software are also available.
