On-chip windowing allows systems developers to define and read smaller frames faster--one line can be read at 1028 frames/s, 6 lines at 845 frames/s, and 20 lines at 560 frames/s. The spectral response range of the CID imager extends from 185 to 1100 nm without blooming, fringing, or loss of data resolution.
