Camera boards include CCD electronics

Sept. 1, 1998
The DIB1010 series of 20-MHz digital board cameras consists of two printed-circuit boards connected by a 65-mm-long flexible cable. The 100 x 127.4-mm main board contains a patented double-correlated sampler, CCD driving electronics, a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter, and power stability circuits. The 65 x 69-mm sensor board contains a frame-transfer CCD image sensor and pre-processing circuits. At full linear dynamic range and maximum resolu- tion, the cameras run at 15 progressive frames/s.
