Color camera speeds medical images
The DFW-V300 1/2-in. CCD color video camera achieves a data rate of 200 Mbit/s, a digital video output of 30 frames/s, and an adjustable resolution of 640 ¥ 480 pixels. It weighs 7 oz, measures 45 ¥ 44 ¥ 100 mm, and mounts easily to microscopes via a standard C-mount. Via an iLink IEEE-1394 digital serial bus, the camera can be remotely controlled from a personal computer.
