When combined with a microscope or a stereomicroscope, the DC 100 imaging system produces digital images at 25 frames/s under incident, transmitted, or fluorescence illumination. It is compatible with PC, TWAIN driver, and the company`s QWin image-processing software and images can be printed, transmitted, or combined with multimedia applications or Internet publishing. Images are digitized directly on its 1/2-inch CCD sensor and reach a 455,000-quadratic pixel resolution, 900K with duplication of software. High-fidelity color is achieved with an RGB color filter and a 24-bit color depth capability. White balance and brightness are automatically adjusted for the entire image.
