The MegaPlus Model ES 1.0/1260 progressive-scan
CCD camera offers 12-bit gray scale performance at a resolution of 1024 ¥ 1024 pixels using a 14 ¥ 14 mm2 sensor that operates as fast as 60 frames/s with 4096 gray-scale levels. It offers user-selectable 2 ¥ 2 binning that increases camera sensitivity by a factor of four and doubles the output frame rate to 120 fps. Controlled via a RS-232 serial interface, the camera outputs four channels of digital video at a pixel clock rate of 20 MHz. Four user-selectable exposure settings range from 1/125 to 1/1000 s. Priced at $16,995, the 3.7 ¥ 3.7 ¥ 3.7-in. camera uses C-mount lenses and weighs 30 oz.
