• Acquisition board handles high-speed throughput

Compatible with both digital area-scan and linescan cameras, the IMAQ PCI-1424 digital image-acquisition board works with the PCI bus to capture color and gray-scale digital images. The board can acquire four channels of 8-bit data; two channels of 10-, 12-, and 16-bit data; and one channel of 24- or 32-bit data at pixel clock rates to 50 MHz. Using the company`s PCI MITE DMA controller and image-management techniques, it can acquire and store digital camera data in onboard expandable memory of 8 to 72 Mbytes at rates to 200 Mbyte/s and transfer data to PC memory at rates exceeding 100 Mbyte/s. Other features include one serial and four TTL or RS-422 digital control lines, four counter/timers, and free NI-IMAQ driver software.
