Portable projector offers high brightness
Weighing 12.8 lb, the VPL-X600U ultraportable XGA-resolution LCD projector provides 600 lumens of light output in either a 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio. It incorporates 1.3-in. polysilicon LCD panels with 1024 ¥ 768 resolution, accepts horizontal frequencies of 15 kHz and 24 to 81 kHz, and comes in a heat-dissipating magnesium diecast body. Acceptable signal formats include composite video, Y/C (SVHS) video, RGB, and component video (Y/R-Y/B-Y). Computer-input display formats include Macintosh, VGA, SVGA, XGA, and SXGA. The projector also includes 10 ¥ 8-element fly-light light integrators, a prism block, polarizing plates, a short-arc 120-W UHP lamp, and three-speaker stereo sound. Price is $9990.
